You already have the time.
The average person we built this for scrolls four hours a day. We don't take that away. We tax it, 30 seconds at a time.
iPhone · launching soon
Every time you open TikTok, you pay a 30-second step toward one goal. Then it unlocks. The more you scroll, the sooner you finish.
Free to start · 3 skips a day, we're not monsters
The average person we built this for scrolls four hours a day. We don't take that away. We tax it, 30 seconds at a time.
A language, or your body and mind. Not a streak: a real finish line, and a date that moves every time you pay a step.
Every day you get a receipt of what your scrolling paid for. It's made for Stories, not for shame.
How it works
Nothing changes about your phone. Same apps, same icons. You just tap it like always.
Learn two new words in English, Spanish, French, German, Japanese or Korean, explained in the language you speak. Or 30 seconds of squats, a plank or a breathing reset, shown step by step before the timer starts.
Fifteen minutes by default, or whatever you set. When it's up, the shield comes back and so does the next step.
Every step is progress toward the one thing you keep putting off. Scroll more, finish sooner. That's the deal.
Pay one step toward Japanese first. It takes 30 seconds.
Then a second word, and you tell them apart. Your apps open after this step.
What's inside
The 500 most-used words in each language, every one with an example sentence and, where it helps, a tip on the mistake everyone makes.
Meanings and tips come in the language you speak: English, हिन्दी, Español, Français, Deutsch, 日本語 or 한국어. Speak French, learn Japanese. Speak Hindi, learn English.
Each step teaches two new words and then quizzes you on both. Words people mix up, like borrow and lend, arrive together so you learn the difference.
Every word and example sentence has its own audio in a native accent. It starts slow for beginners; switch to normal or fast right next to the word.
Squats, pushups, wall sits, planks, shoulder rolls, eye resets and box breathing. Ten seconds to read how and get in position, then the timer runs. No camera.
Your words, grouped by the day you learned them, with audio and examples to revise. Every move logged with its time.
The math
Slide to how many hours you scrolled last week. This is the same projection the app shows you before it asks for a cent.
At that rate you'd open your blocked apps about 17 times a day.
Assumes you pay a step on 7 of 10 opens and recall most words. Scroll more, finish sooner.
Every day, every week
The app prints what your scrolling paid for: every move, every word, every unlock. One tap shares it to your Story. Your screen time and app opens stay in a card only you see.
Pricing
that's $0.77 a week
for the commitment-averse
Billed through Apple. Regional pricing in India. Cancel in Settings whenever.
Yes. Sorry Scroll uses Apple's Screen Time frameworks, the same system behind iPhone's own app limits. The shield is drawn by iOS, not by a trick that a swipe can dismiss.
You get three free skips a day, and you choose how long each unlock lasts. It's meant to feel like a deal, not a prison. Delete it any time and the shield goes with it.
No. Every move is explained first, then runs on a 30-second timer that only counts while the app is open. No camera, no microphone.
Learn a language (English, Spanish, French, German, Japanese or Korean, 500 words each, with audio for every word and sentence) or Body & mind: squats, pushups, wall sits, planks, shoulder rolls, eye resets and box breathing, each explained before a 30-second timer starts.
Yes. Pick the language you speak (English, Hindi, Spanish, French, German, Japanese or Korean) and every meaning, example translation and tip comes in that language. The app's buttons are in English for now.
Only to you. The receipt you share shows what you paid: moves, words and unlocks. Screen time and how often you opened each app sit in a private card below it that never leaves your phone.
No. Which apps you block and how often the shield appears stay on your phone. Apple never hands that data to us.
